Udupi Cochin Shipyard Limited (UCSL), a subsidiary of Cochin Shipyard Limited, has released official notifications for the recruitment of Office Assistant, Admin Assistant, and Supervisor (Stores) on contract and permanent basis.

Udupi Cochin Shipyard Limited (UCSL) Vacancies details

1. Office Assistant on contract basis for UCSL

Contract Type:Contract (Full-time).

2. Admin Assistant on contract basis for UCSL

Contract Type:Contract (Full-time).

3. Supervisor (Stores) for UCSL

Contract Type:Permanent (Full-time).

All the above positions are based at:

Udupci Cochin Shipyard Ltd., Malpe, Karnataka.

Office Assistant:Consolidated pay of 25,000/- per month (1st year).

Admin Assistant:Consolidated pay of 23,500/- per month (1st year).

Supervisor (Stores):Pay Scale of 28,000 – 3% – 1,10,000 (TS1).

The educational qualifications and experience required for each post are as follows:

Education:Bachelor’s Degree in Arts (other than Fine Arts/Performing Arts), Science, Commerce, Business Administration, or Computer Applications with a minimum of 60% marksfrom a recognized University.

Experience (Essential):Minimum of two years post-qualification experience in office work, data entry, record/report generation, and file maintenance in a public/private sector or commercial organization.

Education: Pass in PUC or ITI – NTC (National Trade Certificate) in the trade of Fitter, Machinist, Electrician, or Electronic Mechanic

Experience:Minimum of one year post-qualification experience in office administrative work and file maintenance in a public/private sector or commercial organization.

Education (Option A):Three-year Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering from a State Board of Technical Education.

Experience:Minimum 7 years post-qualification experience in Ship Building, Ship Repair, Engineering/Logistics, Marine-related, or Government companies. Out of this, at least 2 years must be in a supervisory grade in stores.

Education (Option B): ITI (NTC) in Welder, Sheet Metal Worker, Electrician, Diesel Mechanic, Fitter, or Plumber.

Experience:Minimum 15 years post-qualification experience in the relevant sectors mentioned above. Out of this, at least 3 years must be in a supervisory grade in stores.

OBC – 21 – 33 years

SC -21 – 45 years
